Main News - Monthly Seminar (March 11th)
The March Monthly Seminar took place at the association's office, with Zoom streaming available for those who couldn't attend in person. At the seminar, member Hee-Joon Kim reviewed Vic Sedlak's "The Psychoanalystโs Superego" in The Psychoanalystโs Superegos, Ego Ideals and Blind Spots. Member Sun-Hee Kim presented a case, while member Hong-Seok Jang led a designated discussion.
Main News - Catalina Bronstein Seminar (March 3rd, 10th)
Catalina Bronstein is a Fellow and Training Analyst of the British Psychoanalytical Society and a Visiting Professor at the Psychoanalysis Unit of University College London. She has also served as President of the British Psychoanalytical Society.
On March 3rd, member Wang-Gu Noh chaired the session, and Catalina Bronstein gave a lecture on "Melanie Klein's Thought," with member Hyun-Jung Lee presenting a case.
On March 10th, Wang-Gu Noh again chaired the session, with Catalina Bronstein lecturing on "How to Discover Unconscious Imaginations during Sessions," and member Hyung-Sook Hong presenting a case.
Upcoming Events - Monthly Seminar (April 8th, Saturday) - Hybrid Format The
Monthly Seminar aims to study important papers and books that can be clinically helpful. It serves as a fresh academic stimulus for both experienced and new members.
At the upcoming Monthly Seminar, there will be a special lecture by instructor Jun-Seo Kim.
Jun-Seo Kim holds bachelor's degrees in Philosophy and German Literature from Yonsei University and a master's degree in German Literature. He earned his master's and doctoral degrees in Western Classics from Seoul National University with a dissertation on Homer's epic poetry. He is currently teaching Western Classics (Greek/Latin) and Western Classic Literature at Seoul National University and Korea University.

Upcoming Events - Frank Yeomans Seminar (April 16th, 23rd, Sunday)
Frank Yeomans, MD, PhD, is a Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Cornell University Medical College and a lecturer at the Columbia University Center for Psychoanalytic Training and Research. He is affiliated with the Personality Studies Institute and has worked closely with Otto Kernberg, Diana Diamond, and others on Transference-Focused Psychotherapy for borderline and other personality disorders. He is currently the president of the International Society of Transference-Focused Psychotherapy (ISTFP). He is the co-author of A Primer on Transference-Focused Psychotherapy for the Borderline Patient (with John Clarkin and Otto Kernberg) and has published numerous works on psychotherapy for personality disorders. He has previously lectured on personality disorders and transference-focused psychotherapy at the Korean Psychoanalytic Society's 2022 seminar.
